Great Women behind Great Products: Camille from Camilles Cacao Love

CAMILLE - FOUNDER OF CAMILLES CACAO LOVE

Have you ever tried ceremonial grade cacao? If not you will, after you’ve met Camille. At Camille’s online store you get organic ceremonial grade cacao that you’ll never want to be without.

Drinking ceremonial grade cacao can be a wonderful way to ground yourself each day and implement a little self-care ritual. Pure cacao is a great source of the muscle relaxing mineral magnesium and has a huge amount of antioxidants and countless minerals that support your health and beauty. Bonus: It gives you energy without the jitters you might get from drinking coffee.

Today we talk to Camille about her daily rituals, her favourite thing about ceremonial cacao and how her spiritual practice changed after she became a mother.

How does a typical work day for you look like?

Right now I am on leave, so my time feels even more precious. But what is always a high priority for me is sleeping until I wake up - or the kids wake me up. ;)

Taking it slow, drinking cacao as the first thing, writing my journal, meditation before ANYTHING. Then I go online and check my email, social media and my "love to do-list". I love to tune into myself first and then see, what feels what I would like to do.

I usually don't have so many things scheduled with clients, since I plan my work more occasionally. I love to teach, but those are more intense days - long days over several days in a row, where we can really go into the depths of our own being.

What’s your main strategy to ground yourself when life gets busy?

Slowing down and structure! So I make it very clear, when I am ON and when I am OFF.

But ceremonial cacao, meditation, oracle cards and journalling is very helpful, so I only nurture my own energy, and not giving or sharing any energy with the world. It also depends where I am in my moon cycle - when I am close to having my period or I have it, I try not plan any big things, so I can just decide how I feel like from day to day.

One thing I have loved for many years is going to the gym. Heavy lifting - it gets be back into my body and I sense my internal world and strength much deeper within.

What do you think is the most special thing about ceremonial cacao?

Oh.. We have a beautiful relationship me and cacao spirit. It's too hard to only name one. But to sum it all up - it's CONNECTION. Connection within - being anchored deeply within myself. And connection with others - how cacao brings us together and makes the space in between us much deeper, loving and true.

How has your spiritual practice changed since you became a mother?

Time is more precious. So having structure around my practice is important. Taking time for it everyday, since I really feel it immediately, if I don't! It's about having capacity for myself and then my kids. I feel everything so deeply, and therefore my practice is also about just feeling myself and my inner space for a while.

After becoming a mother I do feel more connected to my body, so it's easier to get into that space of nourishment. Where I get high on feeling my own supply. ;)

What’s your favourite Beauty Ritual?

I am not really having a beauty ritual in a common sense. I do feel that beauty comes from within - radiating from the inside and out. So in that sense, my beauty ritual is do rituals, that makes feel calm, interconnected, emotional capacity and alive in my body. Therefore my daily ceremonial cacao, active meditation, respecting my boundaries  and going to the gym on a regular basis is very important for me.

At the moment I am on leave with my 1 yo daughter, so nurturing myself before I take care of my business is what makes me fulfilled.

What books inspire you?

When I was 18 I’ve read my first book about manifestation called Think & Grow Rich. It had a huge impact on my life ever since. Reading it when being so young and about to jump into adulthood has given me the fundamental belief, that huge dreams are also possible for me.
At the moment I read several books. I love that, since my mood is not always for reading the same book. Right now I have books on my kindle about tantra, money manifestation, writing personal memoirs.

Titles of books Camille is reading at the moment: Amanda Frances; rich as f*ck, Richard Rudd - Gene Keys, Irene Andersson - Create Health with your sexual energy.
